Webcomics

It's hard to find Webcomic artist's willing to do a interview, so it may take some time to get that. I had ONE reply that was posetive, but no replies to the actual interview questions. So its just wait and hope.
I am however planning the creation of my own comic, its a matter of getting organized. I have most of the story ready...

I have the tools. It's a matter of disiplin and exersise...

Or so I keep saying anyway. :P

So what have I been up to?

Nothing and a lot.

I been planning a comic,
And hope to start actually moving it into scripting and sketching.

I was planning to make a film,
A short film in all simplicity. But it have mashed about in my brain and now it have spawned into a animation. witch is good, I can tidy it away and store it between working with it, and not.

I been planing to make a homepage,
As a portfolio. I have tons of ideas, and I can blueprint them. It at least may be something to show.

I hope, no I aspire to grow as a creator. A artist of you will. But I cannot limit my mind to a select subject or theme. My inspiration pulls me here and there. Thus I should follow.

What have I been up to

Well i finished the project time machine, will get pics up soon.
New project is a 30 page comic, I hope it gets as far as 30 pages. In Norwegian and aimed for the Raptus festival 2011 in bergen or perhaps 2012... We shall see.

Post Larp.

I had a great time. It was amazing! Being away for a total of 7 days, 5 in witch was doing actual larping("24/7). 2 were traveling.

I made new friends and during character i had trumps, i got to sing and play! I cried real tears and felt grief when two of my friends characters died. It was amazing. Truly. All this I owe to my sweetheart who decided to stay home with the kiddos so that I could have a lot of ME time. It was really good. Thank you!

My role was shortly summed up.
A sailor whoom had true dreams that warned him about imminent death treatening danger's. He also had dreams that made him seek the horizon. During his life he had been a sailor, a hire sword and during poor times for a Bard of sorts.

His goals was to hide his gold coin. witch was rare, and likley to be stolen. (In fact it was alreay stilen, My character just found it. He handed it inn to the law when he found out. Greedy law dint even give a finders fee...)
Sing and play. (easy peasy.)
Learn about dreaming. (Not so easy, but there were a huge interest about the dreams...)
Help his friends reach a holy temple for soul cleansing. (in fact the larp begun with saving the last of the temple relic's as it had been burned by a dragon.)
Learn as much as possible ablut the new place and the people there.(Fun play.)
Find a wanted girl.(I gave up on this one, It was too against the caracter to collect a bounty ona nice girl like that.)

23 days to LARP

Its 23 day's to Soria Moria's (Larp organizers) "Ingen skygge uten lys" (title translated; no shaddow without ligth.) with is the third SM larp im going to, the last in a saga. I finnaly got my part and im so exited, i finaly got the perfect part! He is a proud sailor, a man of his word and there is something mystical going on with him. also he is a forgetting, so I get to switch languages! From time to time. I'tl be fun! I get to write songs and play the Jaw harp too.

So all I got to do is juggle the vacation with my darest family, VS sewing the costume and making props. My dearest family will not be joining me, this will be the first truly solo adventure of mine in a long long time. I will miss them. And I hope their life wont be too hard without me when I'm off for a week and just having fun.

I'm grouped with people i know, and want to get more acquainted with so this will be a good opporunity!

Make a small Ingame journal, your characters journal or notebook... Here you can keep the larp plots cleverly, notes on important persons and things you know you should know.

Like this example; Lets say your character has a secret, lets say you killed someone
"Jarheim; nice inn on the top of the mauntain. Sadly i killed teh innkeeper; Joran Jarheim's hunting dog. He is known for his angry fit's so I better tread carefully if we meet again."

Now if You loose the journal, you may get blackmailed your outed, witch is good role play.

Building a time machine!

On Indestructables I found a nice time machine prop.
Now im going on a time traveler themed Larp soon so im building my own, its quite different.
Im using a Power drink bottle called battery... for.. er, well a battery, it had a movable lever and is made mously by book cardboard, 2 m.m thick. some clock parts... Pictures will come sometime soon.

Indy mogul is a community and a tool for young and old amateur film makers, one can find out how things are done for less money. Tutorial's and help from the other moguler's are freely available. But you might want to try to search for what help you need to know, the solution may already be out there.
